Welcome to Episode #2 of Backstage! This is a monthly web series that will highlight artists from diverse genres. Through this series, our goal is to support and promote the artists, and provide our audience with an eclectic platter of music and dance.
About our Featured Artist: Shamie Royston. Born in Denver, Colorado, Shamie Royston, pianist, composer and educator is a unique musician in her own way. Her exquisite style of piano playing combines a traditional and contemporary sound embodied by a soulful spirit.
Host: Robin Clabby - A wonderful saxophonist and vocalist. He spent 14 years in New Orleans, LA. touring nationally and internationally with the Brass-a-holics as well as freelancing with a long list of other artists. He has recently moved to the Northeast and is currently splitting time between NYC and Philadelphia. Robin performs, records and teaches lessons on Soprano, Alto, Tenor and Bari Sax.
