ABOUT THE COMPETITION:
Eligibility: Adults (18 years of age or above) located in the North American region
Venue: VIRTUAL
Contestants should be ready to perform in multiple genres - Bollywood, Non-Bollywood Hindi, Raag based Hindi, and Regional.
Judging: Round 1, 2, 3, and the finals will be based on Sur, Taal, Presentation, Pronounciation, Expressions plus Bonus points based on Harkat, Vocal Quality, Confidence, Song complexity, Song selection.
Prizes : There will be Gold, Silver and Bronze winners. The prize money will be:

Gold: $1000
Silver: $750
Bronze: $500
Nine consolation prizes of $50 each

AND winners get an opportunity to perform on a global platform.

Entry fee: $35.00 (plus online fees)

HOW IT WORKS?

Preliminary round (Unlisted YouTube video):
1. Fill and submit the registration form along with your performance YouTube video
2. Submit entry fee (via the form)
3. All entries will be screened and results from the preliminary round will be conveyed to all the contestants through email.
4. Those who make it through the preliminary round will be invited to Round 1 and subsequent rounds where you will be required to perform on various themes.
5. Bollywood hindi song (preferably with sound track)

Performances in each Round
1. Each round will comprise of live online performances broadcast live globally on Bharat TV
2. There will be eliminations in each round.
3. Themes for each round
- Round 1 : 1 song - Bollywood
- Round 2 - 1 song - Bollywood
- Round 3 - 2 songs - 1 Bollywood and 1 non-Bollywood hindi language
- Final Round - 3 songs - 1 Bollywood, 1 Raag based and 1 Regional

Final round
Winners from Round 1, 2 and 3 will be invited to the Final rounds to perform in front of the celebrity judges. Details will be shared with the finalists.

DEADLINE FOR PRELIMINARY ROUND:
Application Submmission deadline: July 31st, 2022. Round 1 to start in the 1st week of August.

Organizers have the right to refuse participation to any applicant for not following the rules of the competition or for limiting the number of registrations.
Judge’s decision is FINAL at any level of the competition
All decisions relating to the event are final.
In the event of any question or matter that arises at any point which is not expressly provided for in the rules, the organizers shall exercise their authority at their own discretion.
No inappropriate content at any stage of the event.
Strict action will be taken for any misconduct or misrepresentation of work that you submit online or present live.
The organizers have the right to change rules of the event at any point.
Indemnification by Applicant/participant: By entering the event, the applicant releases and holds the event organizers harmless from any and all liability for any injuries, loss or damage of any kind to the entrant or any other person, including personal injury, death or property damage, resulting in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from acceptance, possession, use or misuse of any award, participation in the event, any breach of any event rules or in any award-related activity. The applicant agrees to fully indemnify, without limitation, the event organizers from any and all claims by third parties relating to the event.
Privacy/Use of Personal Information : As a condition of entry, all applicants grant the event organizers the right to: a) Use his or her personal information for the purpose of administering the event; b) Use his or her name, photograph, video and audio recordings, voice, prize information and/or biographical information for publicity and promotional purposes without further compensation.
Updates and Promotional material: By registering for the event, you agree to receive event updates, promotional material or any other information related to the organizer or any future events.
Limitation of Liability: The event organizers assume no responsibility or liability for lost, late, misdirected or incomplete entries, notifications, responses, replies, release, any defective application form or any computer, online, telephone, hardware, software or technical malfunctions that may occur, including but not limited to malfunctions that may affect the transmission or non-transmission of an audition materials and application form.
