Clash of Tones (COT) 2020 is an online contest in voice, instrumental, dance, painting, and drawing .

- All age groups
- US residents
- Group and Solo performers
Participation fees
- $15 per solo entry
- $5 per member for group entries (Total group fees capped at $30. So groups with 7 or more members pay only for 6)
When can I apply?
- The contest runs from March to August
- You can apply anytime from March 1 to August 20.
- You have the opportunity to earn more points if you apply sooner.
Talent Levels
- Minors (10 yrs and under)
- Juniors (11 to 14 yrs)
- Seniors (15 to 18 yrs)
- Adults
Online submission - Voice, Dance and Instrumental:
- Videos in YouTube format only (you can make it unlisted if you have privacy concerns)
- Restrict the length of the videos to fairly reflect the talent. (It might vary based on the genre you choose).
- Videos should be clear, with good lighting, sound and the best representation of your talent
Online submission - Painting and Drawing
- Theme is "Feelings"
- Images you upload should be of good quality and resolution
- Ensure your name is signed on the painting.
- Ensure your entry is in line with the theme.

Judging Criteria
- Voice: Technical soundness, Rhythm, Diction/Enunciation, Expression, Presentation
- Instrumental: Technical Soundness, Rhythm, Preparedness, Dynamics, Presentation
- Dance: Technique, Choreography, Execution. Expression , Presentation
- Painting: Theme clarity, Technique, Presentation, Creativity, Artistic impression
- Drawing: Theme clarity, Technique, Presentation, Creativity, Artistic impression
- For Group performances: Additional criteria of Group dynamics
Scoring
- Scores given on a scale of 1 to 10 for each of the 5 judging criteria. Total score is the sum of judge's points and bonus points.
- Rankings given based on the total scores.
- Minimum threshold for ranking: 35 points (50 max) for solo and 45 points (60 max) for group entries.
- Re-register to improve your score and ranking - Same fees is applicable for re-registering.
Bonus points
- Submit an original or an "out of the box" creative work or composition
- Earn a bonus point every month by registering by 7th of the month.
Leaderboard
- Each month's Top rank holders and their teacher/school names displayed on the Leaderboard.
Prizes and certificates at the end of the contest
- Final scores tallied in August end
- All rank holders given certificates
- Winners and runners up in each category at August end showcased digitally and given prizes
