About Ms. Eileen
She is an art teacher with over 20 years of experience. Pre- COVID she taught in small groups to a total of 25 to 35 students per week . The average age group of her students has been 6-12 yr olds. Her style is very freeform and she doesn't limit herself to standard conventional art. One of her core strengths is that she is able to easily relay her artistic thoughts and ideas directly to the children. Her passion and creativity flows from her experience and the artist in her is constantly inspired by various themes that surround her (Nature , Seasons, Holidays etc.).
About the classes
Classes will be held weekly on Wednesdays starting on Dec 2nd and ending on Dec 23rd.
Week 1: Snow Scape
A piece of art that captures the snow as it lays on the tree limbs and fence posts. Get into the season and create your own winter wonderland using charcoal.
Supplies: paper/#2 pencil, Q-tips, charcoal sticks, eraser tips, paper towel, ruler.
Week2: Ornament
(using a 7x7 plate or lid)
A unique way to create a 3-D piece of art using small cuts that pop out. You can hang or pin up. Decorated for the holidays.
Supplies: paper/#2 pencil, (7 x 7) in diameter (a plate or lid), regular markers, scissors, stapler or tape
Week 3: Reindeer
Draw one of the most prominent animals seen this time of year. A true reindeer. These drawing techniques can be applied to sketch other animals with similar body parts.
Supplies: paper/#2 pencil
Week 4: Gifts under the tree
Learn to draw an authentic evergreen tree and decorate it with beautiful ornaments. Make 3D objects that appear as gifts under the tree.
Supplies: paper/#2 pencil, colored pencils and gel pens.

All classes are 1 hour and 15 minutes long and will be conducted online. You will be provided an online link 1 day before each class. Last date to register for the classes is Nov 30th. So hurry!
