In this session, Hasu Patel will explore India's, the most popular string instrument ' Sitar'. Here, she will talk about the origin of the instrument, construction and parts of the Sitar. She will also show how to hold and play the swaras (musical notes) correctly on Sitar and will explain the essential techniques. If time permits, Hasu will also discuss the Raga theory.
