About Ms. Eileen
She is an art teacher with over 20 years of experience. Pre- COVID she taught in small groups to a total of 25 to 35 students per week . The average age group of her students has been 6-12 yr olds. Her style is very freeform and she doesn't limit herself to standard conventional art. One of her core strengths is that she is able to easily relay her artistic thoughts and ideas directly to the children. Her passion and creativity flows from her experience and the artist in her is constantly inspired by various themes that surround her (Nature , Seasons, Holidays etc.).
About the classes
Classes will be held weekly on Wednesdays starting on Jan 6th and ending on Jan 27th.
Week 1: Under the sea
Dive below the sea to capture some of natures beautiful creatures. Splendid colors shine and illuminate in the ocean. A unique way to draw different shaped fish using crayons and gel pens.
Supplies: paper/pencil, crayons and gel pens
Week2: Lion and Friends
Don’t be afraid when you learn to draw the king of the jungle with his friends. Their different faces and bodies will be explored in their habitat in this art project.
Supplies: paper/pencil, crayons and oil pastels.
Week 3: Portrait
Drawing a portrait of the human head can be easier with my step-by-step method. Learn realism and attention to detail.
Supplies: paper/pencil, rulers
Week 4: Dragon
In honor of Chinese New Year a dragon drawing for the occasion. Complete with fire breathing and decorative scales and wings to fly. A focus on patterns, and some shading.
Supplies: paper/pencil, crayons and gel pens

All classes are 1 hour and 15 minutes long and will be conducted online. You will be provided an online link 1 day before each class. Last date to register for the classes is Jan 3rd, 2021.
