About Ms. Eileen
She is an art teacher with over 20 years of experience. Pre- COVID she taught in small groups to a total of 25 to 35 students per week . The average age group of her students has been 6-12 yr olds. Her style is very freeform and she doesn't limit herself to standard conventional art. One of her core strengths is that she is able to easily relay her artistic thoughts and ideas directly to the children. Her passion and creativity flows from her experience and the artist in her is constantly inspired by various themes that surround her (Nature , Seasons, Holidays etc.).
About the classes
Classes will be held weekly on Wednesdays starting on Oct 7th and ending on Oct 28th.
Week 1: Creative Cartoonies
An Art form in which Cartoons can be reimagined. Create your own unique characters. Each character is developed using common shapes.
Supplies: Pencils #2 , colored pencils , ruler, drawing paper (as reference please see the attached images below in the gallery)
Week 2: The Scarecrow
This class will focus on learning to use different clothing to build a character figure
Supplies: Pencils #2 , ruler, Twistable crayons (as reference please see the attached images below in the gallery)
Week 3: The orchard view
This class will focus on learning to draw items seen on a farm Eg, pumpkins, gourds, apples , Autumn leaves... etc.
Supplies: pencils#2, ruler, oil pastels, drawing paper (as reference please see the attached images below in the gallery)
Week 4: Art inspired by quilt patterns
This class will focus on learning to draw graphic theme designs . This form of art teaches kids coordination and concentration.
Supplies: Graph paper ( 1/4 inch squares) , ruler, gel pens (as reference please see the attached images below in the gallery)

All classes are 1 hour and 15 minutes long and will be conducted online. You will be provided an online link 1 day before each class. Last date to register for the classes is Oct 4th. So hurry!
