Virtual Competition of Performing Arts

We are very happy to invite you to join a very unique International Competition of Performing Arts (Music, Dance, Drama and Recitation - all Indian) conducted virtually at Zoom, Google Meet and/or Skype. The competition is being organized by Chhandayan, with the partnership of Duttapukur Arts Center, India.

The details in this form will reveal the difference in the nature and scale of this competition (Chhandayan would not bring to you anything of a lesser standard).
Candidates from all over the world are welcome to apply, using the attached application form (please use separate forms for each subject). Please submit the application form along with supporting documents.

Fields: Subjects
Vocal: a) Classical, b) Semi-classical and c) Regional Songs;
Instrumental: a) All North Indian classical instruments -Sitar, Sarod, Santoor, Violin, Esraj, Sarangi, Bansuri, Sahnai, etc.;
Percussion: a) Tabla, b) Pakhawaz;
Dance: a) Bharatanatyam, b) Kathak and c) Creative dance;
Drama: a) Recitation and b) Acting (excerpts).

Levels: The competition will be held in three levels based on duration of learning experiences. Level 1: up to 3 years, Level 2: 3 to 5 years, and Level 3: 5 to 7 years.
