It is our pleasure to share the the inspiring journey of Jin Won, an accomplished kathak dancer and tabla player, who is originally from South Korea. Jin is a performing artist and an educator. She trains the next generation of artists as a faculty member at the Taalim School of Indian Music. She has collaborated with Korean and Arabic traditional artists and incorporated a multitude of percussion instruments from around the world into her work.
Jin's journey from a theatre artist in Korea to ambassador for Indian classical arts is incredible and was the perfect story to share in March, women's history month.
