Summary
I am a designer and a passionate folk artist based in Munich, Germany. My inclination towards the Indian Art and culture brings me close to the Folk Arts of India and through my various social media channels I keep promoting them. As I hail from Bhagalpur, a small town in Bihar, I have the priviledge to understand the cultural nuances and values, and that helps me create the magic of folk. I choose to stick to the authenticity and rawness in creating my artworks.

FolkTrends
Founder
I have been working as a designer in Munich since many years now and currently started my own venture FolkTrends to promote the folk art and culture of India. It all began in 2006 when I was in Madhubani researching on Indian Handicrafts, and I caught a glimpse of Mithila Art. I was so mermerised by the beauty and culture that I spent days with the artists understanding and learning the folk art. Ever since I have been painting and learning, and have created 100s of Mithila Paintings that are now part of many European homes.
