Deepti started learning Bharatanatyam at the age of 10. As she joined, her interest grew up which made her study further in detail. During her study in Diploma and MFA (Bharatanatyam), she learned different aspects such as History,NatyaShastra, Abhinaya, Choreography etc. While teaching, She realised that dance can also be used as a therapy for people having physical disabilities to improve their communication skills. With her creativity, she wants to do more experiments in Bharatanatyam.
Currently working as a "Bharatanatyam Teacher-Choreographer" at one of the most reputed School of Indian Arts, "Phoenix Gharana" in Scottsdale,Arozona in the US since 2015
