Teaching Philosophy - As a musical theatre performer, voice teacher and coach, I have learned the singer’s paramount need is to maintain vocal health and consistency of performance. This is achieved by laying a foundation of solid vocal training, focusing on the healthy functional use of the voice.

My students are of varying ages and levels of proficiency - from the singer, dancer or actor with little or no previous vocal training, to the student auditioning for college music programs, professional musical theatre, their school musical or just for their own enjoyment! My students are currently appearing and have appeared on Broadway, in national and international tours, on television, in commercials, movies, and regional theatres. As a performer, my credits include Broadway, off-Broadway, cabaret, dinner theatre, church and synagogue soloist and numerous recordings. For many years I performed with Labors of Love, a benefit for Broadway Cares / Equity Fights AIDS and was a featured soloist on their 2001 Christmas CD, Carols for a Cure.
