music from Guru - Shri A. L. Chatterjee of Serampore;
W.B.; India. Being a maestro of Kirana Gharana, Guru
Shri A. L. Chatterjee is disciple of Pdt Jaychand Bhat, Dr.
Yamini Ganguli and Pdt Gnyanprakash Ghosh.

accompanied a number of great vocalists on stage as harmonium/keyboard player.

has composed music for number of great events, including All India Radio Festival,
Cuttak, Odissa; Telefilms on Doordarshan, Opening score of South Asian Drama Festival
2006, NJ, a special event on NABC 2005, NY. Songs composed by Parthasarthi are
highly acclaimed by great maestros like “Sunil Ganguly”, “Taslima Nasrin”, “Girija
Devi”, “Pdt Tejendra Narayan Majumdar” etc. His creation, Chandramukhi, a complete
musical ballet, is staged in number of festivals in tri-sate area and Canada. His latest
musical album “Shudhu Kobitar Jonnyo” [A musical re-projection of poems written by
Sunil Gangopadhyay] has earned respectful recognition from music critics.
